We absolutely love our pool. Fernando did an excellent job from concept to completion. He was there with us every step of the way. Never tried to sell us on anything just gave us suggestions and recommendations but it was always our choice. And he was spot on in everything. Our pool has become the envy of our friends. We reached out to 5 pool companies before finding Fernando. His costs were way under the big pool companies and his work was just as good if not better and we got to add more to our project because we saved so much. Ive recommended him to several people whove seen our pool.

Today, I completed the project that converted my back yard into an oasis. Having established a pool construction plan I searched the internet for a company to perform the excavation work on the new pool. One of the companies I called was Dependable Excavation to obtain a bid. When I called Dependable Excavation, I spoke with Fernando directly. He came to the job site, examined the area and prepared his bid. However, what became apparent was that Fernando had more to offer that just straight pool excavation. He became my pool construction advisor. We reviewed and adjusted the pool layout to take advantage of the terrain. Through Fernando’s expertise and connections, I was able to find and hire quality contractors to complete all phases of the job. And, by the way, I saved approximately 24% by handling the build myself (with Fernando’s assistance). In the end, it was a pleasure to meet and work with Fernando. I would highly recommend that you consider Dependable Excavation if you are taking on a pool build or renovation project.

Dependable Excavating was one of several companies I called and I stopped getting estimates after meeting with Fernando who went out of his way to meet with me on his way to a family birthday party. Im an Austin firefighter living in S.A who is assigned to staff training division so my schedule is tight. I needed our concrete pool removed so we could replace it with a new one and everyone company I called told me how difficult the job would be and it would take a week and cost x amount of dollars. They mentioned many tons of concrete that would have to be removed and they would have to separate the rebar and so on. Well not only did Fernando give me straight honest answers he also made no excuses. He got the job completed in 2 days and was $3,000 less then the nearest competitor, the highest was $9,000 more. And he Got it done faster. It was a pleasure doing business with Fernando and I consider him a good friend now.

Let me start by saying that without the superior work performed by Fernando my family would not be swimming in our dream pool. March 20, 2014 I had a 30+ year old in-ground swimming pool that became a nightmare and an eyesore! I had a friend that thought he could do the job for me of filling it in, but after starting it realized that it was too much of a job and didnt have the right equipment. After many failed attempts of trying to find someone, either they never showed up or they wanted to charge a fortune. I called Fernando at Dependable Excavating during the evening on a Saturday. I explained that I had worked all day and that was my first chance to call, he was so understanding and even went that night to look at my pool!
